With Ruby Gardens, Vastint expands the living and working area of Amsterdam Southeast

Vastint Netherlands has signed an agreement with the Municipality of Amsterdam for the development of Ruby Gardens. Modern offices, rental apartments and public facilities such as a restaurant and a community center, all together in one building. Ruby Gardens is located directly adjoining the future Hondsrugpark, which is part of the lively Amstel III district. Construction is scheduled to start in 2022.

Ruby Gardens

The existing outdated office building at Hullenbergweg 1-3 will be demolished in a sustainable and circular manner to make way for the development of 20,000 m² of high-quality office space, 102 (rental) apartments, an underground parking garage of 5,000 m² and public facilities on the ground floor.

The ground floor is fully equipped with public facilities such as a restaurant, informal workplaces, a coffee bar and offers special rooms for meetings, small-scale seminars and a community center. The facilities are accessible to all: tenants, residents and visitors can relax, work and network in Ruby Gardens. A platform to connect people and create a community. The atmosphere of the public facilities will be similar to a lounge: hospitable, warm, cozy, inviting, well thought-out and functional.

The future Hondsrugpark will be linked by an internal route through Ruby Gardens to the communal gardens of the office complex behind it, which Vastint also owns. Vastint thus emphasizes the green character of the area and both projects.

Amstel III

Ruby Gardens is part of Amstel III, the area between the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Amsterdam UMC-location AMC, the A9 and the railway. In the coming years, the current monofunctional office area will be transformed into a lively city district where you can live, work and relax. Approximately 10,000 homes will be built here, together with supporting facilities such as schools, supermarkets, shops, etc.
